Today said that Impeachment inquiry was necessary, but disruptive.

I remember the Nixon. Almost same thing was said, it would tear the country apart. Never mind the crime committed, it would tear us apart.
Republicans got away with an affront to the American people. Nixon was pardoned by Ford.

It is my belief that if we do not impeach Trump, then Trump will stop at nothing. He is already "joking" about 2025. We know about Trumps jokes.

This is the Democrats line in the sand.
Think about this. If Trump feels he can shakedown a foreign leader, what has he been doing to Republican leaders?
What happened to all those Rep leaders who were so anti Trump?
They will now do anything he wants.

We are a long, long way............

If anyone thinks that the Repubs, having mostly completed a complete COUP are not going to un the ante and come out full force they are sadly mistaken...........

If anyone disagrees with us Bucolic, they have had their heads in the sand since election night 2000. The Repubs mantra has ALWAYS BEEN: The end justifies the means..........

Some asshole in the Bush Admin stated openly to the Dems......"We do what we want, and all you can do is just standby and watch"

John Schindler on Twitter, a former Intel Community guy, has been saying for months that the end of the year would be mind-blowing. Not that he didn't think they had Trump covered so to speak, but also that the fallout would not be limited entirely to one party. This has me keeping an eye out for those lurking in the shadows or trying to blend into the woodwork. I won't share my observations.

But take heart. This week's fireworks does not appear by my reasoning to be spontaneous, it's been months in the works. Sen. Chris Murphy CT for example said something about hearing things from Ukraine as early as April. It might have been an oops moment, but I just couldn't tell.

The election was stolen with guile and cunning and untraceable ops. If the rule of law answers it will be with similar methods, and the crooks will never be able to figure out how it happened.

PS. Strange that Trump's NY State tax litigation got such a long postponement. Wonder if they think it might be in some way moot soon?

They know two things: Their 401K is doing great and the entire whistleblower report is hearsay and completely made up. They know nothing else to support their approval of Trump. They did not even know about the transcript of the phone call being released.

One of them said Nancy Pelosi was committing Treason and should be in front of a firing squad.

Paul Ryan's already making his grab for redemption. It doesn't seem to be working very well for him yet.

You know, there are a whole bunch of people just itching to get back into government service. Career people who believe in government and its function in our society. When the current reign of error is over, we could be seeing a renaissance in government service. And no, Susan Sarandon, you don't get credit for it.

There will be a new repuglicon movement with some meaningless name like Constitutional Con Artists of America pledging fealty to truth, happiness, and a chicken in every coop.

Like Nixon’s tape recordings of his Oval Office meetings will be the down fall.
Getting a “loyal” conservative to pull them out and expose them would be GREAT!!
Then again I believe they are already shredded and burnt to cover up the acts.

By not answering questions will face criminal consequences, and they can't do like has been done by others, and those that won't speak will possibly be going to prison this time. They know it this time and some will be smart enough to speak without any reservations . The opening up to find all info on other overly classified materials from his phone conversations will happen knowing he's already broken the law. We're just seeing the tip of the ice burg , and I suspect Putin is not wanting his browbeating red donnie not to be publicized either, or corruption they are planning to do either.

this rapidly breaking open scandal to the fall of the Berlin Wall. One day the wall was there and the next day that spark of protest turned into formerly scared Berliners finding collective courage and tearing it down. I thought that was an excellent analogy.

Rick Wilson compared it to Watergate saying were in 1973 and now we're in 1974.
