I honestly think Trump will be gone by Xmas

And Im usually not filled with hope.

With Bushy, I didnt really think that Fitzmas will come.

I didnt think Muller would amount to anything.

I knew the so called trump tapes (Apprentice N word, Urinate video, sexual assault of a teen
beauty pageant) would never come to light.

All the scandals that have been talked about, I knew would be brushed off, and wouldnt leave to the
demise of trumpy.

This feels different, I think the "Ukraine" will take him down, along with Pence.

So if Trump/Pence is gone by xmas, who becomes President, and will there be a snap
election??

Report, but trump just couldn’t quit seeking foreign interference.

I think GOPers will tell him privately that he is done. Of course, they are concerned about how they will fare in this mess, not what’s good for country.

According to the line of succession, I believe that Speaker Pelosi would become President Pelosi. Correct me if I'm wrong here...

It is Pelosi.

An aside. When they leave they can take their bloody trees with them.

If he goes by then that means we won't be allowed to say "Merry Christmas" anymore!
On the other hand, if he's gonna be toast, then Thanksgiving might be better timing, as we would have MUCH to be thankful for!!!

I heard someone say on MSNBC say that Nancy was waiting and giving him enough rope to hang himself. I think she could have been thinking that or was being patient and waiting for a change. Whatever it was, it was well played and now is the time to impeach him, not before.

I doubt that Pence is as easy to nail. And if Trump's base stays with Trump, that will certainly have an effect on the GOP'ers in the Senate, and they probably won't vote to remove Trump.

Don't get too excited just yet. Sure, Trump's had a hellacious week, but he's had them before and survived.

I agree: we don't do that.

In any case, we'll be finding out things about this shit-stain for decades. We just found out Reagan was a racist POS (NOW with audio proof!).

I think Trump isn't compos mentis enough to think it could be the best way out, and he knows for sure that even if the House impeaches and McTurtle lets the Senate accept the Articles, a vote to convict and remove from office will fail in the Senate. Republican Senators are toadies and there just aren't twenty of them that would vote to boot Trump out.

Figure Pence will NOT resign with him. The timing would still give Pence the chance to mount a sappy "we were wronged" grudge campaign, and the God Squad would jump on it with a vengeance. They may have had a problem with the pussy-grabber, but certainly not with their Ayatollah and Mother. Pence may not be a pussy-grabber, but he is a money grubber. He is just what the big money behind the Republican Party wants installed in the Oval Office--gone the loose cannon, and in with the cannon that only shoots when they say when and in which direction. By the end of a first term, Mother would no longer be worrying about what they can afford. By then, the answer would be "whatever you want."
