If you're looking for some more good news. He still has to answer for his crimes, but neither tRump nor DOJ has power over him to answer candidly.

1. He won't. He resigned to limit his legal bills, not to free himself from Trump-executive-privilege.

The less he is involved going forward, the fewer hundreds of thousands of dollars of legal bills he will face to keep his traitorous ass out of prison for getting crosswise with Dem-controlled Congressional committees and the soon-to-be not-Bill-Barr-2021-DOJ.

He won't be throwing Trump under the bus until Trumpists are TOTALLY out of any position to put the hurt on him, at which point his testimony will be superfluous or unnecessary.

And he refuses that will be obstruction. Schiff has already warned Pompeo. They are not toothless any more.

5. Expect the same pattern from trump

He'll start attacking him suggesting he was corrupt, and use Barr to threaten his use against him if he speaks freely. He knows he can't let him speak or others will also. Trump will launch a massive tweet storm trying to intimidate, and obstruct this House investigation. Just like he'll threaten Rep. Schiff, and others in the House, and claim they are corrupt with made up BS and bogus claims, again a pattern he uses often, and has used on others.
