Trump, his supporters, conspirators and enablers are low.
They've gas-lighted us for 3 goddamn years. We have been SCREAMING that this guy didn't pass the smell test. We SCREAMED that the things he did, the things he said all pointed to trump being a fucking traitor. The supporters cried that we were trying to take down "their" president and that he was the best president ever. His conspirators told us they supported his platform and positions 100% and it was best for the country. His enablers covered up his misdeeds and told us he was doing no wrong and we should stop acting like snowflakes.They ALL KNEW what was going on and tried to make us out to be insane.
This weeks revelations have been nothing short of what we have been saying all along.... EVERYDAY.... FOR THREE YEARS! Now it's all coming out. It's all sounding exactly like what we have believed all along. I mean, it's not like there wasn't obvious smoke this whole time. This shit has been done right out in the open and they have denied, denied, denied. Well, now reality is here and trump is a traitor. Where are they and what will they do now that its blatant and raw?
My best is that they aren't even going to fight us about his ass. They won't admit what they've done to the country with their hatred and evil. They are going to sidestep away from trump and pretend that either it didn't happen or that they never supported him in the first place. I've been mad this entire time and I didn't think I could be any more angry at trump and his cult. I was wrong, I'm way past mad now. I've reached a state of anger that rounds all the way back to a strikingly insane calm.
This is going to play out and he's going to be gone. The republican party is going to be gone. All that will be left is wreckage for us to clean up. Eventually, we begin moving towards a future THEY created, the wreckage THEY created. We'll work on fixing it with or without them. Don't even bother with the hand-wringing, fake apologies or whatever else.All they need to do is do what they do and slink away like the cowards they all are, that's it.
For now, we, the sane people. Have to sit and wait and watch as this disgusting behemoth they created dies its ignoble death. As his supporters whistle dixie and slowly slink away on their bellies, as his conspirators move to cover their asses and/or move on to new schemes and machinations, as his enablers start turning snitch on either other to save their own slime encrusted carcasses. They do so with full knowledge that what has gone on with the trump administration is low. The only thing that isn't clear is if they will all understand that their continuing part in this also makes them low.
