This morning, it feels like we can finally get off and catch our breath.
From Tuesday, when Nancy announced that she was going to begin a formal impeachment inquiry, to Wednesday, when Trump released a partial transcript of his conversation with the Ukraine president, to the whistleblower complaint on Thursday, and the subpoenas for the Secretary of State on Friday.
Wow! How quickly everything changed!
The Republicans are on the defensive and the White House is in a reported "panic".
Can someone put all of this into perspective?

(36 posts)At the moment is their is no impeachment inquiry, Nancy saying so does not make it true.
The house has to hold an official vote on an impeachment inquiry and establish an impeachment committee. If they don't then they have no subpoena power for anything impeachment related.
They sent a subpoena to Mike Pompeo and said if he did not comply he would be obstructing the impeachment investigation. Pompeo can throw it in the trash because as of right now they have no subpoena power.
They need to schedule the damn impeachment vote and get to work taking Trump down, impeach him and then hand it over to the Senate for the trial.
