What really bugs me is Trump will have lifetime secret service protection (Original Post) captain queeg Sep 2019 OP
Oh yeah, he'll be very protected once we get him behind bars. YOHABLO Sep 2019 #1
If he's in jail, that may lighten their workload, not cost taxpayers nearly as much. Beartracks Sep 2019 #2

Thinking positive. Sounds like that would be a win-win for Americans.

I think it changed after Clinton.

Although, really, for him, how long can "lifetime" be???

Probably with a hamberder lodged in his throat.

Or small intestine.

Possibly both...

I wonder if there is any statutory requirement as to what specifically is required from an asset and logistical perspective. Could we just get by with just a phone with a direct line to the Secret Service. He could even leave a message if it is after normal business hours and somebody could call back the next normal business day and take his message and relay it to the proper department for their consideration and study by a special committee at their next regularly scheduled meeting.

Trump has destroyed so much. Lots of things we took for granted are now a pile of twisted wreckage. “Business as Usual” doesn’t exist anymore.
