After all his help to obstruct, why would Barr try to distance himself from Ukraine scandal?

"[An] anonymous leak to the AP suggests a possible effort by [Attorney General] Barr to distance himself from the Ukraine scandal that ignited a formal impeachment inquiry into Trump last week."

He knows it is illegal for the President to use him and the DOJ to investigate political "enemies". He had a duty to inform the President of the illegality, recuse himself of the whistle blowers review (since it names him), and to inform the congress and even open a criminal investigation into the Trump's attempted misuse of Presidential powers. He did none of those things and, therefore, is open to a criminal conspiracy charge himself.

If I were him. I would consider resigning ASAP and declaring that, despite what the converstation readout was between Trump and Ukraine... he wasn't aware of any such demand for an investigation of Biden and his son.

Schiff's committee from seeing the whistleblower complaint.

So he is still guilty as heck.

He will try to use this as an excuse to justify not recusing himself. Although IMO it would seem to indicate that he could appear less impartial having been accused of something he says he was not involved in. Whatever either way he's in this shithole up to his neck and grasping for air as he gets sucked in.

will start trying to distance themselves from trumps mess. Will it work? only time will tell. It's going to be fun watching them jump ship, and waiting to see who turns on who, and who tries to cut some kind of a deal to get out of the trouble they are all in.

I "really" want to see who turns on trump, and who trump tries place all the blame on.
