Why did it become such an important issue just this week?
Corruption in Ukraine was not something Donald Trump was deeply concerned about until he got caught trying to make a deal with the taxpayers money.
Trump and Rudy are masters of distraction.
Everyone needs to keep their eye on the ball.

(46,575 posts)As a side dish, Trump saw Hunter Biden's good deal and was hoping to establish a relationship with Ukraine in order to negotiate a similar good deal for his own kids. Probably would have developed over a very private conversation, like he holds with Putin.
We should live in fear given the amount of privacy that he gets with those Putin meetings.
Does not surprise me that it will be a CIA whistler blower that takes him down, given the amount of danger that he is putting on their operators.
Now I hope that the whistle blower, who stepped up to put the report under his name, did so because he is nearing retirement.
