I started breaking 85, the game changed from ho-hum to extremely interesting and challenging.
Over the years I have played 5000+ rounds, and now only thing stopping me is age nearing 80 and arthritis in bone joints. After retiring early at 57 due to health problems, I took up golf hoping to improve my health and that worked beyond by wildest expectations. Joined a cheap private club in Washougal, WA where I could play unlimited golf for less than $300/month. So I played 5 times every week, weather permitting.
