What strategy would you use when contacting a Republican congressperson re: impeachment?

My congressman has already said that he's not in favor of impeachment, but I at least want him to know how I feel. I know it's a long shot, but maybe if enough people contact him advocating impeachment, he might be more openminded.

How would you approach a phone call or email to his office?

but be informative and encouraging: 'I'm prepared to support you, if you demonstrate an open mind on impeachment-related issues,' or somesuch.

who reflects conservative values without being a disgrace and a traitor conspiring with a foreign government and now openly threatening lives of a whistleblower and others.

To not act now is cowardice and will mean the demise of the GOP. The only way to keep Dems form winning, now that Trump's become a maniacal laughing stock, is to put Pence in the White House ASAP.

Of course none of us believe that or want to see a Pres. Pence, but I suspect that's the only logic that would get some conservative Congressional members to back impeachment.

you can let the congress member know your position and what you want them to but it's not worth spending too much time on.

it's better to try to convince other people in the district and try to get change in that area.

and other church goers are all GOP voters, like you are, but this past week has turned them into Dem supporters since the GOP won't impeach and are standing by a dishonest, unpatriotic POTUS. Pretend you were MAGA supporter but have changed your mind as well as everyone you know. You are merely a number to them so act like you are speaking for many, many disenchanted GOP voters.

tell him/her what it is that you would prefer to be their vote on this or any issue and let it go at that.

This person is supposed to be your representative in Congress. So they need to know what their constituents think.

I will write both my Republican Senators when the time comes.
