DU Poll, will Trump still be in office on election day? (Original Post) USALiberal Sep 2019 OP
I think so, just because I don't think 20 Republican senators will convict. bearsfootball516 Sep 2019 #1
The Senate probably won't convict. Act_of_Reparation Sep 2019 #2

He's clearly losing his mind over this, though. Tweeting that Adam Schiff should be arrested for treason is insanity.

If they do, hey that's great. But we gotta be realistic here. Senate Republicans aren't just going to spontaneously start feeling shame.

I think the next couple of weeks is key. If this drags on, McConnell will say that we shouldn't vote to acquit during an election year. That's why this needs to move quickly.

inauguration day. If he loses, he resigns before inauguration and gets a pardon from Pence (after he finishes his stack of pardons for everyone else including Pence).

I think that when Moscow Mitch and his bunch do the calculations, they will suddenly "do the right thing" and dump trump. They will be able to retain the most seats in congress this way. The useful idiot has run out of his usefulness.

They will be able to run Romney again and UN-fortunatly have a decent chance at even POTUS.

In the mean time they will be able to keep running the board for the nutso RW judges.
