Trumpty gets in bed with NRA. Check. He gets support and more opportunities.

Lizard brains get stimulated with fear. More guns are sold in due to panic.

Now, the membership of the NRA is how big? Just how do you have a civil war with our current demographics? It is not even practical to consider it in respect to the first one.

What you can get is more fear and confusion, oh, and did I mention GUN SALES? At worst, this will foment some violence, make people more anxious and really muck things up in some places, but no civil war will ensue. At worst, you would have backwoods factions playing guerilla warfare in backwards places not realizing that their weapons are as useful as muskets by today's standards.

All this, not for any sound reason like slavery, etc., just for one tin pot dictator? I wonder if it will dawn on those who might want a civil war that there is nothing to get but misery and pain and loss of their comforts?

Suggesting and fomenting civil war is just another impeachable crime.
