Gotta ask. Now that things are getting really, really serious, what do you think is going to happen? I'm thinking he'll try his 3rd grade level school yard bully tactics, but they won't work. Adam Schiff doesn't give a shit about being called juvenile names, so he's going for the throat. The rats should begin to desert the ship soon. We're learning more and more by the minute.

I think his ego won't allow him to be impeached. I'm thinking (if his head doesn't explode soon, which I'd pay to see) he'll claim he did everything he was elected to do...we're now living in the Land of Oz, the weather will always be perfect, everyone is rich, we're the envy of the world, the water is crystal clear, the air is sweet, and everything is wonderful. He wants to get back to running his business because he misses it so-o-o-o much, so he'll resign.

I just don't know if his ego would make him resign or if his desire to fight would win out.

I think the desire to fight would win - he truly enjoys turmoil.

That thought actually crossed my mind. Given his ego, the possibility of his resignation may also be a stretch, especially if his "everything is wonderful" brain-wash mantra doesn't work. I can see him trying this, but I doubt he'd be able to stay dead too long. Obama will do something decent, and he'll claim God sent him back to earth to undo it.

AF1 will land at a foreign airport and, with his private 757 parked nearby on the tarmac, he'll make a mad dash (*ideally using a rascal scooter for our entertainment* ) from the airstairs of AF1 to the airstairs of his 757 and fly off to any country that doesn't have an extradition treaty with the US.

Frankly this script writes itself: The many involved (seems like just about everyone) are going to turn, because Trump is going to turn on them. He's already done it with Pence. "I Think You Should Ask for VP Pence’s Conversations." Ah, yes, to save himself he thinks he can turn attention elsewhere. Sadly, he is wrong again.

As soon as everyone starts pointing fingers they will all jump ship because it's lawyer-up time (expensive) and potentially perilous (jail time). None of these people are loyal to Trump; they've just been hanging on because supposedly that's what their constituents want (doubt that's really true). They work simply to be reelected. This is true on both sides.

It's time to change things so our elected representatives don't spend their entire term worrying about their reelection and actually do work for the people.

After the House votes to impeach him, he'll transform into an even more annoying, whiny little bitch.

He might voluntarily resign after the election between November 2020 and Jan 2021. At that time, he might be pardoned by Pence, but I'm hoping NY will still prosecute.
