Pathological liar created Dreamworld
Pathological liars often become so entwined in their own lies and even they don't know truth from fiction. After a while in order to continue to believe their own lies, they start to reach a point where the lies have to be true, because it forms the basis for everything they stand for. And when people start to call them out, often the responses to create even more difficult to believe lies to maintain this world they created.
Often, people who live in this sort of Fantasyland get rejected by the people around them oh, and they start over somewhere else where people will believe them again. Of course telling tall tales allows them to have a sense of grandeur, because when people believe their stories, it makes them feel like they are on top of the world.
When pathological liars are confronted often they will demean the people who are attempting to call them on their lies. And of course when we have someone in a powerful position, it makes it quite easy for them to use this tactic to defend against anyone who would call them out on their lies.
So as I try to predict what's going to happen next, it sounds like he is going to demean people even more, and fabricate even more lies. but it certainly seems we're getting closer to that point where these tall tales are getting more and more difficult to believe.
I guess this means it's going to make for a very exciting into our story. We'll have to stay tuned.
