Shameful. Lets not forget that this is not just about politics in America
I think back to the horror on Zelensky's face as he sat next to Trump.
What an impossible position for him to be in. His country and people under siege and wanting so badly to defend his people and country.

I think that story needs to be amplified. People died because of Trump's antics. Who really wants to defend that? Let the Republicans spin that story and defend that. I am sure they will, however I think it will further drive away suburban voters and Trump triers.

People who are somehow okay with his vulgarity and destruction of everything we respect and hold dear, and everything we all believed we were.

4. It reflects so badly on the US and is very damaging for democracy

People around the world can plainly see that the democracy of the US is like most of the approaches of government that have gone before it: it is not immune from an authorization fascist taking charge with a congress riddled with corruption and a major lack of principles contained within it's constitution.
