(19,204 posts)I turned on Hannity (I know, I know) and the Target Center was packed. How many of those were paid/bused-in is unknown. My viewing lasted about 45 seconds, I have no patience for bullshit, but Trump was really high as a kite tonight. No pauses between sentences, nothing. Zooming, if you catch my drift. I imagine they have to keep him pretty doped up these days. Of course everything, and I mean everything, was a lie pouring out of his big ugly mouth.
I was curious as to what propaganda Hannity was regurgitating tonight and forgot about Trump's big rally. It's quite obvious the GOP us hoping to turn Minnesota red, because they spent a lot of money tonight. They still don't realize how futile their efforts will be.

(32 posts)Just a thought...
So if the red state cities wanna spend their moola on promoting this asshat, fine. Let's make 'em eat the local MAGA tax base.
It costs big bucks to provide security for a visit from the Orange Kremlin mouthpiece.
From the airport/flight control employees, the incoming/outgoing route logistic employees, the local infrastructure ie; porta potty rentals, yellow shirts ("security" , city funded traffic control/enforcement $$$, but more importantly the local law enforcement personnel, who, by the the way love the overtime pay, these events run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Don't gather in large groups! Spread your attendance!
Imagine the cost of sending 50 to 75 cops to protect each of 20 or 30 locations of protesters!
Spread the love throughout the route!!!

(1,080 posts)The crowd was very peaceful. No pushing. On the FB page that organized the protest someone posted that they heard the police estimate at 30,000 protesters. The Target Center only holds 19,000 and the videos I saw from indoors looked like they had the Magats sitting with empty seats between them.
The only problems I saw were when a few Magats confronted the protesters with shouts and taunts. They must have been in the protest area to cause problems because from what I saw, the people going to the rally entered the arena from a different area from the protestors.
Tons of great signs! The crowd (including us) was really stoked!!
