Another reason for me to dislike CITI Bank.

Last week I received a check in payment for my work. It was small,$1700, and drawn on a CITI Bank account. Being as I was going to pass by a branch I stopped to cash the check. I went in and presented the signed check with two forms of picture ID.
I was asked by the teller to wait while she got approval to cash the check. When she returned, with the branch Manager, I was told that CITI Bank would not accept a Texas CHL as legitimate ID! I was speechless! This is a license with my photo on it, issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). The same folks who issue all Texas DL's! They said that a credit card would be acceptable.

I left, went to my own bank and deposited the check, witdrew sufficient funds to pay my help, and went home.

Rather have a credit card, than a State of Texas issued photo ID.
