but in all these years nobody wants to hear it.

Hate is strong AND it is understandable but I will stick with the farmers, I am one and I do not know many who are pro Trump. Most of those that I did know were only anti Hillary but nobody would hear that either. Most of them around here have dropped the MAGA hats for silence. I have seen a total of 1 MAGA hat since this all began, 1.

Ya gotta have enemies I guess. Hate radio 24/7 with a day of freaky, country fundamentalism and there is little room for thought.

& buy a couple of radio stations in the heartland, hire some top notch writing talent, & run them at a loss if he has to. But no. No one will do that. Rich donors. Party leadership. I guess their reasoning is that liberals don't listen to AM radio, so why would we put liberal programming on AM radio? I honestly believe that given a choice, most people will choose humor over fear & hate, but our side doesn't even offer an alternate message. We wrote off all of rural America with that short sighted move.

If you have never been isolated in one of the very small and very spread out communities that many or most farmers live in you would not know how hard it is to break in to change minds. Here in Kansas our party has left out almost half of the state for years and until we had Dr. Dean's 50 state strategy we could not get a Democrat elected easily. Once that money stopped it seems like it took them a long time to get back to covering the state. We are doing that better now I think but something like a radio station would do a lot of good. I think the point should not be mainly for Dems but a station that would cover a lot of things with a more liberal flavor. They will listen. The farmers out here that I know who are R's are not crazy. There are some, of course, but most are open minded about a lot more than other people might know but they are only hearing what the crazy R's say and that is so prevalent that it is very hard to break through.

Whatever. People have to have enemies and the farmers have not proven themselves to be influenced by Dems easily or quickly. There are reasons, mostly the fault of the Dems, but that is not changing fast enough. At least here in my state if the R is crazy enough (Kobach for one) they usually do not get elected more than once or twice (lol, hard to imagine) but I say that when my own Congressman is as dumb as any I have ever known.

Takes a certain kind of person to tune into hate radio, and not recognize the lies pretty quickly.

They all went for Reagan too when farms were foreclosing at a rapid pace.

Farmers are for the most part into agribusiness
They don't like environmental rules.
Trump is giving them aid to offset the tariffs.
