Tesla owners weather PG&E's power outage as gas stations across CA shut down

Tensions are rising in up to 34 counties in California as residents begin feeling the effects of Pacific Gas and Electric Co’s decision to cut power to around 800,000 customers as a way to avoid potential wildfires in the area. Amidst the chaos, Tesla owners who have installed rooftop solar and Powerwall 2 batteries are reporting that they are weathering the widespread power outage with no problems.

PG&E says 84K in dark as crews work to restore power 11/11/19
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Around 84,000 PG&E customers remain without power across California days after the utility enacted shutoffs to reduce the risk of wildfire during what was forecast to be a high wind event.

PG&E said Friday afternoon that it has restored power to 89% of customers who were affected by the shutoffs, including full restoration in Humboldt, Siskiyou, Trinity and Yolo counties. KCRA

Cali, for a lot of people, is becoming more difficult to reside. It's amazing how many people I meet here in Nashville that are moving from Cali. If we could all just be Tesla owners...
