Question about the Senate trial

Are there any restrictions on presidential powers when he is impeached and under trial? Or is he still free to fuck up anything he wants?

Does drumpf have to be present in the Senate during the trial or can he just stay in his safe space at the White House?

And, no, he doesn't have to appear during the Senate trial.

If the Senate votes to remove him, however, his Presidency ends with that vote, and immediately.
