Here is a good example of how to explain to a Trump voter the difference between them and us.

You say this to them, when Trump voters chant lock her/him up, it is all fantasy. No one gets charged and no one gets locked up.

When Democrats chant lock her/him up, it is real. The real criminals get charged and get locked up.

You can mock, make fun of Trump voters without getting rude or mean. Simply tell the truth about what they have done. The material you can use is endless.

I will mock, make fun of the Trump voters I know, meet for the rest of my life. Maybe even after my life. I will haunt those dumb motherfuckers. Seriously, I will bust their stones every time I talk to them. I will not ignore or forget what they have done.

I enjoy that here because, well, we are in a group who may appreciate it and we may have similar views and understanding.

However, when it comes to loyalty and a strong confirmation bias, mocking them or even refuting such simplistic thinking might backfire because they would simply use the mocking as a means to confirm their beliefs.

Joe Bageant, (who is now deceased-RIP) was rural liberal who wrote a lot about that mentality and the problems with it. He also made good suggestions on how to deal with it. He put an emphasis on understanding them first. To simply oppose them is fodder and fuel. To ignore them completely might be rather perilous.

So, it is a bit of a complex conundrum that requires a well thought out approach. Otherwise it is just a repetitive form of opposition based on a political dichotomy that just gravitates towards slogans and name calling and that has never really accomplished anything.

In other words, it takes a lot of time and work to really have a substantial influence and the media, et al, don't really help much along those lines, so we have that working against us as well. Also, education. Let me repeat that: EDUCATION. That's an important part of this problem overall.

I am still going to bust their balls forever. I enjoy it. I like seeing that blank stare on their face when they know I am right and they realize they are fucking stupid. They won't admit it but I can tell by the expression on their face they are embarrassed.

If these people weren't bullies growing up, they were the ones egging on a bully so they wouldn't be on the receiving end. Thus, they identify with the bully, and when the bully wins ugly, they still see themselves as winners.

I already understand enough about their worldview; that's why they must lose. Bigly.

They have no comeback - how do you respond to being told someone thinks you're an idiot and that your continued defense of them only proves the point?

Like I said, there are many ways to attack Trump voters simply by telling the truth. You don't attack them by calling them names, that won't work.
