effort to watch her show, but I've found myself with the TV on a LOT lately, blaring in the background--like Fox at my mom's house(!)--because there is so much "breaking news" (every damn minute). Since I hadn't seen her for a while, I really noticed a significant difference, especially with the delays in name/word retrieval.

And in spite of her often annoying "inside the beltway" take on things, she's still relevant and on point... but just pausing a bit too long at times to find the right word or name. I mean, even with my current increased daytime TV viewing (given the nonstop developments), I still watch her infrequently, so until a couple of posters mentioned it, I thought maybe I was just catching her in some off moments.

She’s known around our house as Andrea “oh but her emails” Mitchell.

I have this list of “need to do” actions for the game of “If I ran MSNBC.” Getting rid of Andrea Mitchell is at or near the top of the list. I can think of a few other much more deserving people on staff who deserve a prime showcase like hers every weekday. I’m sure she enjoys that cushy anchor slot in the nice safe air conditioned TV studio with the staff assigned to her hour. If I didn’t force her retirement, I’d send her back out on the road, following Pompeo or somebody comparable. Or maybe assign her to the national police shooting beat. So she doesn’t get the privilege of that safe, insular, and highly glamorous anchor job in the big city where she gets hair and makeup services for free every day. Or covering one of the GOP primary challengers to trump. Out on the road. Where you live out of a suitcase for weeks at a time, and have to stop and think about where and in which time zone you are because it all becomes a blur after awhile.

You wouldn’t be a pampered vainglorious Georgetown cocktail party fixture anymore if I were in charge, Andrea. Or you could always retire. I kinda like the idea of a Joy Reid or another talent toiling in the back of the vineyard in that coveted timeslot. OR, maybe coaxing the wonderful and classy Tamron Hall back and give it to her. Hall became a work casualty while the (male) NBC brass were too busy hyperventilating over their shiny new presumed “Wonder Woman” and miserably mismatched misfit Megyn Kelly. Good Grief what a colossal blunder THAT was.

But that's on the level of Susan Collins being "shocked and dismayed" over well, whatever.

I haven't seen the particular interview everyone is discussing here, but I'd be willing to bet that after her mentioning his immoral spawn, she immediately moved back to Hunter Biden and the "increasing scandal" surrounding the Biden Family. She has beaten out Chuck Todd for the "both sides do it" mantle.

I intentionally turned her off and went to CNN for news. She's sneaky with her biases, sounding so benevolent, yet she is wildly inappropriate. She did the same thing with HRC during the '16 campaign, tossing out one damning innuendo after another, with no factual basis. She has no business reading teleprompter news because of her editorializing WITHOUT announcing her opinion-making, which would show respect for the listener. She takes liberty to voice her anti-Democratic bias over and over. No one corrects her or tells her to knock it off. And it's also amazing that the entire MSNBC crew treats her like she's a goddess. She should have retired ten years ago.

Hunter Biden WAS trading on his dad's position!

He probably did not commit crimes. He did, however, accept leadership positions in foreign companies that were well beyond his skills or experience.

It does not disqualify Joe Biden, but the optics severely handicap his ability to win or lead without the perception of corruption by those who are looking for excuses to not vote for a Democrat.

Poor judgement shown by Hunter Biden.
