The bus drivers, the airline flight attendants, the clerks at the gas station and grocery store, the doctors and nurses at your local hospital, the police and firemen.

I have almost always had jobs where I've worked holidays, and it strikes me as beyond strange that all of us shift workers are invisible to so many office workers.
