He was so so needed by all of us, to honor him we cannot give up the fight. Let he has said "we are fighting for the soul of our country. This is serious".

We owe this to him.

By all means, take a break if the nonstop criminality and the deliberately credulous and obtuse reporting in the media break you down. Nobody is designed to stand up to that onslaught of normalized chicanery. But take heart that on our side are folks like Elijah Cummings, John Lewis, Nancy Pelosi, and other heroes and defenders of the Constitution. When you're sufficiently rested, get back in here.

When riots broke out in Baltimore three years ago after the death of a young black man, Freddie Gray, who was fatally injured in the back of a police van, Cummings gained national attention walking the troubled neighborhoods trying to keep the peace. He is part of the city's fabric.
