I have definitely wondered about this too. You can also hear it in his speech, when he "has" to say the same thing over and over again using exactly the same words. Also, his obsession with Obama, Hillary's emails, the Ukraine server that his own people told him was debunked more than two years ago.

What you're saying is one reason I'm for stretching out the Impeachment process, but on the other hand that strategy does come with certain dangers. This president unravels under pressure, but he could also cause a lot of damage. If he could simply crack up without causing a lot of collateral damage--rendering himself unelectable and possibly impeachable even by the Senate--that would be the best scenario. But he could continue on with his scorched earth path too.

Dr. Bandy Lee and her group of psychiatrists issued a similar warning about how impeachment would drive Trump over the edge. (But they didn't say "don't do it&quot

Yes, removing Trump from office is a desirable outcome that should be pursued with all vigor and celerity. Every extra day Trump squats in the White House is another day the explosives canister might go off. However, actual removal is up to the Senate, controlled by Republicans. We need to be sure that Senate Republicans feel the pressure every bit as much as Trump is feeling the pressure. We need to make it clear to Senate Republicans that the American people expect, nay demand, they do their duty under the Constitution, no matter how many times Lord Littlehands declares it to be phony.

He may end up retiring due to "medical" issues. One way or another he will be removed if the Republicans have any hope of holding onto anything in the next election. They need to get Pence in place soon enough to run the coming campaign.
