Mueller may well have played fool to catch 'wise' and let them distort his report and ridicule his presentation to the House.
The state has depth - never forget that assholes. It is deep and it is there to defend the Constitution. It will take you down. Ask the Con.
Justice is coming! I can't wait to see how this ends.

(52,253 posts)he might have been doing an earnest, sincere, capable job prior to allowing the whole thing to be prematurely halted, but he threw his reputation aside for unknown reasons when he allowed that to happen without even saying that that's what happened.

(16,928 posts)Look at the position he was in: Heading an inquiry that had access to everything, or the power to get everything eventually.
From what we know, he saw more than enough to "git-R-done" - and fizzled out at opening day.
Think of all of the faith/trust/hope that was placed in him.
Think of the number of times IQ45 went into rages about what Mueller was doing or was accused of doing.
We even had our own cute lines: MAGA - Mueller Ain't Going Away.
We heard of his proud military history of service - his honor and duty to his country.
Well, if he did respect his own honor and duty to his country, why didn't he share what he knew that would bring about the end to this nightmare?
Why did he end it "not with a bang, but a whimper?"

(16,928 posts)He was there - millions of people watching/listening to hear what he would say.
And people were nodding off like a 5-year old in a 2-hour Presbyterian sermon.
He had the stage - and he had laryngitis.
Yes, the Congress dropped the ball in not picking up his "hints" - but that was another game played by Barr - and another failure by Congress.
HE could have blown it all open...................... but chose not to.
