so if the house is goign to vote on impeachment brettdale Oct 2019 #2
House needs to hold public hearings, then vote. I'd say 4-6 weeks, minimum. tinrobot Oct 2019 #3

Can he be impeached for crimes committed in his first term?

If he is impeached and McConnell holds up the trial can it be advertised to voters that he stands a good chance of removal,so don't waste your vote.?

Personally, I think a trial in January would be ideal from a public attention standpoint.
