Can Bill Taylor's testimony today have the same result as John Dean's testimony in 1974?

I guess this is a question for people who were there or know a lot about the "Watergate Testimony". Dean's testimony then was shattering and incredible. Of course it was direct testimony with Nixon, but it reflected exactly who Nixon was. Taylor's testimony about how a foreign nation could get dirt information on someone for an upcoming election, is not the same, but it also reflects exactly what Trump is/was. Will Trump call Taylor a liar or ignore what was said? We will find out. But today's testimony is indeed explosive just as John Dean's testimony was in 74. (One thing is for certain, someone will ask John Dean this exact same question)

He needs to say it at an open hearing. John Dean worked for the President and I think that made him wasupaloopa Oct 2019 #2

but may have similar effects, and surely will lead to more, similar evidence from others.

I am not sure Bill Taylor has the same gravitas.
