Graham to introduce resolution condemning House impeachment inquiry

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) is planning to introduce a resolution condemning the House Democrats' impeachment inquiry process, and argued that any articles should be dismissed in the Senate without a trial.

"This resolution puts the Senate on record condemning the House. ...Here's the point of the resolution: Any impeachment vote based on this process, to me, is illegitimate, is unconstitutional, and should be dismissed in the Senate without a trial," Graham told Fox News's Sean Hannity.

President Trump and his GOP allies on Capitol Hill have lashed out at how House Democrats are handling the impeachment inquiry, arguing they should hold a vote to formally launch the investigation.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has argued the rules don't require a vote. But Republicans say it would give them more leeway to call their own witnesses, and put swing-state Democrats on the record on launching the impeachment inquiry.

Lindsey hit tRump hard on his betrayal of the Kurds, but I think it also gave him breathing room to exclaim that he's not a tRump loyalist.

I just don't buy that tRump or Putin has anything on him as has been proclaimed.

10. He then got a call from Trump and completely reversed himself,

claiming Trump knew what he was doing and it all was going to turn out fine for the Kurds. Then today he defends Trump “lynching” statement. Graham does snap at Trump on occasion, but then immediately reverses course, then defends him with great vigor.

He looks desperate and haggard. He looks like a man in fear. There was a time when he comported himself with some degree of dignity. Now we see him debasing himself almost daily. There is something wrong. I think he is being blackmailed. He always looks like he’s going to break out in a sweat.

Hey, I know! They can get Jacob Wohl to bring Nancy's drug dealer and Elizabeth's boy-toy.
That should put the whole impeachment inquiry to rest.

If the rethugs want a resolution mccarthy is welcome to try and submit one..........

a "vote for an inquiry" to "allow them to call witnesses" is nonsense. there is no law or rule that requires a vote and as such holding a vote does not trigger any sort of additional rules that all the rethugs to "call witnesses".

This cuts both ways. Let’s get some R-Senators on record. A majority of Americans support impeachment now. He’s in panic mode and can’t think straight. Lol

17. How long has this POS been in office?

Long enough to supposedly know the actual way Congress is supposed to run, right? That isn't in the Constitution or the Congress' Rules & Procedure (LINK)

There's something off with these senators who insist on publicly fellating the Pres in the face of this entire mess of a scandal/crime syndicate

I don't think it's anything more than either knowing they have somehow got skin in the game and are hiding their own guilt, or they just REALLY hate any America that isn't rich and white...

It mystifies me.
