Here’s the facts.

If a Democrat became president and gave classified information to our Russian enemies, praised Putin and sided with him over our own intelligence agencies, met with Russians and lied about it, put his own political interests above the interests of our country, funnelled taxpayer dollars into his own pocket, appointed corrupt cronies to cabinet posts, sent his vacuous kids to represent us on the world stage, referred to white supremacists as ‘very fine people’, labelled immigrants of colour as disease-carrying rapists and drug dealers, kidnapped immigrant children and locked them in cages, declared himself a ‘pussy-grabber’, held rallies at which he encouraged violence, tweeted vitriol on a daily basis, lied to the American people over 13,000 times in less than three years, was credibly accused of sexual molestation by two dozen women, abandoned our Kurdish allies and left them to be slaughtered, and tried to extort damaging information on a political opponent from world leaders in exchange for much-needed financial aid already approved by congress, there would be no need for impeachment – because Democrats would show up at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with torches and pitchforks, and would drag him out of the White House themselves.

Of course, the above is strictly a hypothetical scenario, because Democrats would never nominate a failed ‘businessman’ who has left a trail of unpaid debts, had his ‘charitable foundation’ shut down due to rife corruption, had his fake ‘university’ dissolved because it was a scam – no less elect a dumb-ass who thinks wind turbines cause cancer and solar energy isn’t viable because your electricity goes off at sundown.

You see, Traitor-in-Chief, we just don’t have anyone on our side of the aisle who is willing to support a self-serving, bigoted narcissist, no less enable his idiocy once in office. We don’t have anyone among our ranks willing to sell out their own country in order to enable an arrogant, bloviating lard-ass to destroy our international alliances, undermine our sacred institutions, dismiss irrefutable facts as ‘fake news’, and cower in silence as their "pResident" literally shits on the Constitution, ignores the rule of law, and does his best to dismantle our democracy.

In case you haven’t noticed (because you are rather slow on the uptake), the majority of the country now supports the impeachment inquiry that could lead to your removal from office.

If I were you (now there’s a horrible thought!), I would pack my belongings in anticipation of joining my campaign manager and my personal lawyer in prison – because if your spineless party members don’t convict you, the SDNY is waiting in the wings to charge you AND convict you on charges of tax evasion, money laundering, and falsifying financial records in order to secure loans – and they ain’t fucking around.

But be of good cheer, ignore the polls, and keep telling yourself that you are invincible – because that kind of self-delusion will get you through the inevitable rough times ahead. Just don’t count on your party to defend you indefinitely, because they’ll disown you the minute their own political ambitions are at risk.

Eventually even your staunchest supporters will abandon you in order to save their own political skins, and you will be that proverbial cheese that stands alone – rotting in the sunlight of exposure, and stinking like a putrid corpse that no one wants to acknowledge as ever having had anything to do with.

Your days are numbered, Dotard. And everyone knows it – except you.

would perhaps write of these times with the notion that, over the past couple of weeks, Trumpy has been engaged in the biggest power play of his or anyone's lifetime while living in the US. He is literally placing himself above the law, and in order to pull it off, he has to challenge the Constitution and defeat it. It is a huge power maneuver, but for him, it's either bust the Constitution or he gets busted. And Trumpy is so full of himself that he believes that he's more important than the nation and the democratically elected nations of the world. This is what makes him a functioning psychotic. He has just enough social skills to survive while being absolutely divorced from reality. He is really in another world altogether, and to him, it's the real world he's in. He's a spiritually darker version of Don Quixote, who has constructed a separate world that's reinforced by events that can be interpreted (by HIM) as consistent with his world view. He operates on an internal circular logic that yields to cognitive rigidity. So on he goes, creating devastation in his wake, indifferent or oblivious to the suffering he creates.
