It's official: republicans are actively subverting the Constitution in real time:

The conservatives walked into hearing room with their electronics, Connolly said, which is prohibited in the room. Mike Conaway of Texas collected the electronics.

Laura Cooper testimony has been delayed because of the disruption; Schiff is consulting with the sergeant of arms.

If the Democrats had picked up chairs and forcibly beat the buttheaded Republicans with them, those Democrats could have a) been arrested for assault-and-battery and b) be guaranteed to be re-elected by overwhelming voter majorities.

Ah, how pleasant the thought of one of my own Representatives clunking Louie Gohmert with a heavy wooden chair! The act would ensure my vote and everlasting support and admiration!

They may not by domestic police(although Id question sourcing) but the Sergeant at Arms is an officer of the House of Representatives with law enforcement, protocol, and administrative responsibilities.

Congress persons are not above the law and can be arrested at any point by the proper jurisdictional law enforcement entity.

so i watched Morning Joe earlier. Eric Swalwell was on saying Dems are trying to be sure that the Repugs aren't matching their stories ahead of time and coming up with a ploy or scheme to deflect from the corruption and crime, and that their only talking point right now is over process, which makes no sense whatsover.

The BBR didn't involve jeopardize national security.

Ok, re-reading that, yes it did, but not in the direct, hands-on "bring unsecured recording/transmission devices into an location where the discussion includes classified matters" sense.

Why, you'd almost think they weren't concerned about recklessness in handling classified materials.
