So We're pulling out of Syria, but we're taking "the oil"

Trump just said he's pulling out all the troops except for a small contingency to safeguard the oil. He didn't call it "our oil" but said "until we decide what to do with it". He finished the thought by declaring that others may continue the centuries old fight on blood soaked sand.

Is no one going to stop us from shipping that oil here? Does no one care about that? As far as I know that's the only reason there's war in the Middle East and Trump expects to take it without conflict like it's his birthright.
