Republicans Try To Spy For Trump By Sneaking Recording Devices Into Impeachment Hearing

https://www.politicususa.com/2019/10/23/impeachment-hearing-recording-devices.html

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) explained on Morning Joe that the hearing is being held in a secure intelligence room where no recording devices, phones, or cameras are allowed, “It’s three floors below the Capitol, no cameras inside, no phones allowed inside. Any classified notes stay inside, classified conversations stay inside. It’s to protect the information, and in this case there was no special counsel. There was no special prosecutor. The attorney general refused to even take up this case, so we have to do this in a closed environment because we know that if witnesses know what other witnesses will say, they will tailor their testimony and cook up alibis and we have reason to believe that may be going on. We’re trying to protect that information to the degree that we can.”...

They are trying to spy for Trump so that Trump's team can get their lies straight.

Apparently Trump and Rudy don't have an inside man like they did with Mueller.

I am sickened to hear that they may be trying to record the testimony.

They must be stopped.

aren't going to give them the intel they want. Otherwise, why engage in this foolishness when their own colleagues are in the room and have access to all of the information they claim they want?

8. Christopher Wylie described decending to the SCIF to give testimony

He describes getting down there in the early pages of his book, Mindf*ck. It was eerie.

I'm surprised that there are no guards at the entryway. I don't recall what Wylie said about security at the entry doors. I returned the library book so I can't check to see how it was when he gave information to the Intel Committee.

So where the f were the guards? None at the door? This was an epic fail since who knows who could have gotten access.

Seems to me that some of those Rs were not authorized for entry.

About SCIFs - an interesting read.

What did they have to say about this attack? Or did they help plan it?
