It's an extremely secure room where super sensitive information can be discussed freely without fear of eavesdropping from "bad guys". No electronic devices permitted because cell phones can be hacked by adversaries and turned into microphones. Nobody is supposed to take ANYTHING electronic into the room, and you are not even permitted to remove your notes from the room.
