Did the President just direct federal government officials to apply a political test when hiring for federal jobs? That's illegal, you know.

The President of the United States is encouraging federal agencies to violate federal law by discriminating in hiring based on political affiliation, which violates 5 USC § 2301 (b)(2) and (b) (7) (A). He also routinely encourages his subordinates to violate (b) (7) (B).
