(16,616 posts)I want to know if Paul Gosar (my idiot) was there. He's the type to go for something like that.

(10,495 posts)It is so hard to live here sometimes. It did not use to be until after Reagan. Things have grown steadily worse over the years as Fox, Limpballs and the other RW media brainwashed the ignorant racists and programmed them to support all things against their interests.

(31,261 posts)Daniel Webster and Tom Yoho (or whatever that asshole's name is). The large animal Veterinarian, Yoho is a particular asshole, I would have guessed that he would be there with bells on.

(10,193 posts)Ted Yoho - or as we like to refer to him here in Floridas 3rd district, Ted Yahoo - is a member of the Freedom Caucus. I half expected to see this asshole there as well. Hes been keeping a low profile lately; it used to be hed make a fool of himself on a regular basis.

(31,261 posts)I got mover from Webster's district to Yoho's on the last election. I voted against the asshole. I don't know how much he won by, but maybe it was closer than comfort for him, even against an unknown Dem.
I don't know about your part of his district, but we have an active democratic organization in my area and the republicans tend to be chamber of commerce type republicans.

(42,334 posts)He is completely useless. He wouldn't get off his butt to be in this, but he'll sure vote with them.
Dude has never had a town hall and won't meet with constituents. Shows up at Chamber luncheons now and again to say a prayer. Otherwise, bupkus.

(31,261 posts)He used to represent me, I got changed to Yoho, which was even worse.
Webster inherited a big HVAC company that his granddad started. He ran it for a while with his sibling and called himself a successful business person. But as you surely know, in Florida, a person has to be a special incompetent to run a HVAC or Pest Control company into the ground, if they have been around for a while, they have inertia that keep them making money.

(31,261 posts)We should be worried about the Silver Springs aquifer, local lakes and issues with Crystal River and other local rivers, but we are at least 100 miles away from having the Everglades as our primary concern.

(86,647 posts)has one R critter and I didn't see his name on the list, Gianforte, the body slammer of journalists. He's trying to run for gov for a third time, just can't take "no" for an answer either, so I guess he's trying to stay out of the fray for now. But it wouldn't be a surprise if he was there.
