Must Be Said Out Loud.

Chanting “Let us in! Let us in!” about two dozen Republican lawmakers — most of whom are not on the committees conducting the inquiry and are therefore not entitled to attend their hearings — pushed past Capitol Police officers to enter the secure rooms of the House Intelligence Committee, which is leading the investigation. Republicans who are on the committees have been in on the hearings from the start and have heard all the witnesses.

that made republicans look even more ridiculous and ineffective. Maybe a handful of their idiot base drooled a bit but on the whole they just ran off the cliff like Wily Coyote. Again. It never gets old.

The Brooks Brothers Riot was a demonstration at a meeting of election canvassers in Miami-Dade County, Florida, on November 22, 2000, during a recount of votes made during the 2000 United States presidential election, in an effort to shut down the recount process.

In 2000 Stone is credited with the hard-ball tactics which resulted in closing down the Miami-Dade Presidential recount. Stone is credited in HBO's recent movie, "Recount 2000" with fomenting the so-called "Brooks Brothers Riot" in which a Republican mob swarmed the recount demanding a shutdown while thousands of Cuban-Americans marched outside the Courthouse demanding the same thing.

But would you trust a word they said about the proceedings? So you can see why Gaetz and the others had to move on the hearing room.

The republicans on the committees are silently praying “let me out. Let me out “

I agree with your point. The republicans are represented but we aren’t hearing anything from those members.

Why don’t these rogue republicans trust their committee members?

Why are they silent? They aren’t usually shy of making spectacles of themselves? Do they get barred from the hearings if they blab?
