By chance, I was once at a gathering of women who were all the wives of retired generals or colonels. These women have that "together" look. They also drank a lot, though I doubt that "Mother" served them anything interesting.

We have men and women of all color serving our country and defending our rights. They are often underrepresented in the media. I totally agree that this group should have been more diverse and representative of our military. That is without question.

However, Insulting these women by calling them stepford wives? What the hell is wrong with some of you?

I don't care if you have a problem with the Optics (and quite frankly that is what your complaint is truly about) these women are married to men who are risking their lives for this country. A country which affords you the very right to complain. So many others do not grant this right... certainly not about the government

Pence is disgusting. The whole mother thing is creepy. I do not dispute these facts. That being said, these women are married to heroes. We can complain about a lack of diversity without attacking these women and their families.
