She she digs and investigates in obscure places, pulls together disparate facts, and knits them together into revelations that no other news source has covered.

Some people lose patience with the way she often sets Journalism's inverted pyramid right-side up, telling a story that sometimes begins in 1917 on some topic that seems at first apropos of nothing. But you just have to trust Rachel to take you somewhere well worth going and leave you at one of those "Holy Sh!t" moments after she reveals what outrageous things have been going on right under our noses.

Kudos to Ms. Maddow for the well-deserved great ratings!
