Then, the public phase takes place - looks like the House Intel will be conducting those. After that, I believe it all gets sent to House Judiciary for a formal vote on the Articles.

So we can assume it will, at minimum, make it to Senate? If it didn't, I think it would be big trouble for us

won't be any rush to get the Senate involved. This will accumulate more evidence of wrongdoing and
allow Public Opinion to become more and more supportive/demanding that a successful
impeachment process is necessary. I've supported Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic leaders all along.
I'm sure glad we have them on our side.

Public statements taken from witnesses and participants before various committees with jurisdiction. It will then be packaged up into a vote from the pertinent committee (House Judiciary Committee, I think?) as to whether or not the committee wants to make a referral of the matter to the full House. If the committee votes to refer impeachment to the full House, it will be taken up on the House agenda, a bill of impeachment will be introduced, debated, and voted on. If the House votes to impeach the president, the matter will then go to the Senate.

We're at about milepost 8 or 9 of this marathon.

Public hearings.
Articles of Impeachment are drawn up by the Judiciary committee.
Vote to accept the Articles by the House.
The President is then Impeached.
Appointment of House Prosecutors.
Trial in the Senate with the Chief Justice presiding.
Vote for Conviction and Removal or Acquittal.
If convicted by 67 Senators, the Secret Service would escort Trump out of the White House (and possibly deliver him to federal marshals for criminal trial)
A Federal judge would swear in Pence as 46.
If Pence wants to, he could appoint a VP... which would have to be approved by both the Senate AND the House (the one and only time the House gets to confirm a Presidential appointment).
