"SNIP.....

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) said that House Democrats’ ongoing inquiry into the president’s dealings in the Ukraine is “about to push this country to a civil war if they were to get their wishes,” The Hill reports.

Said Gohmert: “And if there’s one thing I don’t want to see in my lifetime, I don’t want to ever have participation in, it’s a civil war. Some historian, I don’t remember who, said, guns are only involved in the last phase of a civil war.”

....SNIP"

Conservatives in Alberta have been using Western Separation as a wedge isdue this election season. Doesn't the right have any other wedge issue left than civil war and separation?

they can keep the poverty stricken communities headed by cattle.

We can take technology, finance, people who can speak multiple languages and are not afraid of the future which may include the children in red counties and red states because they are already fleeing from the wasteland that is Trump america

We divide the national debt the senate seats...since if its good enough for the electoral college, its good enough for national debt.

They can align with Syria and Russia and North Korea, we will be allies with the west, the east, the south and all no oligarch parts of the globe.

We need to understand people and where they're coming from. Don't you realize how condescending it is to denounce Rep. Gohmert's call to violence? It makes him and the people who support him feel really, really bad when you denounce violence. Makes them feel like they're saying or doing or thinking something wrong, like you're better than them because you don't advocate for violence against them.

Dixon Line. I doubt the Army is going to side with trump instead of the Constitution as their oath calls for so who's going to fight Civil War 2.0, AR-15 toting, out-of-shape, camo-wearing, middle-aged white guys? They wouldn't last two weeks in the field against the Army.

What is done to them at that point I could care less. I’ll just look the other way as they have when it was reverse.

You're a conservative Republican congressman. You don't want to serve in the military, period, much less take part in a war to protect and defend the Constitution, in accord with the oath of office you took.

A “civil war” in the US will play out very similar to the one in the former Yugoslavia.

Just a warning to him.
