(25,981 posts)Michelle is also at the top of the poll for most admired woman.
I am surprised Jimmy Carter is so far down the list; that doesn't seem right. I suppose part of the results depend on timing and how often someone's name is in the news and therefore on the public radar.

DENVERPOPS
(8,835 posts)Having had the opportunity a number of years ago to sit down and have a 20 minute conversation with Jimmy Carter, I would put him as number one, or number two. President Carter in person is a very warm, intelligent, and incredible person. He blushed when I told him of my admiration for all the wonderful and continuing things he had done and was doing for humanity..........

Hes the guy I would want a beer with!
And I saw him speak and hes for legalizing pot. So a doobie and beer would be so cool.

I mean, he should've done something about this banking thing with pot, and I'm not particularly keen about the ACA, but other than that. He seems like a pretty nice guy.
Is it just politics, or are people really that stupid?
