Trump's only chance to win reelection ... assuming his is not removed from office and barred from holding any future office ... is to win the Electoral College while losing the popular vote.
I've seen reporting that indicate that he could very well do that. Indeed, the gap between the national head-to-head polls in which several democrats best him and more recent battleground polls in which he more than holds his own, suggest that we may be headed toward another minority presidency.
especially if some third party candidate jumps in.
especially if we get a little strategic voter suppression in just the right place
and especially if the Ruskies lend another hand to Trump and the Republicans.
Which raises the question, will that be enough to finally spell the end of the Electoral College. How big of a gap between the popular vote winner and the Electoral College winner will it take for Americans to finally say that all votes should count equally and that the person with the most votes, not the person with votes in the right places, should be the winner?

If it happens again maybe its really time to talk about secession.

We know that's the only way they can win, so we work backwards from the end point and do everything possible to stop it, professionally, voluntarily, and by contributions.
