...I think that the plan encompasses all possibilities. Why? Because that is what any pair of bright people would do if our nation's existence is at stake. Maybe a couple of more are helping on the plan. These two people are a lot smarter and experienced than the entire Trump gang. They know what is at stake. Perhaps, just perhaps, they have consulted with Mr. Obama who is exceptional in his experience and knowledge. We wouldn't know except that Pelosi, Schiff, and Obama, know what is at stake. I have trust in the three to do the best for our nation. If you were in charge, wouldn't you work with the previous President ? Perhaps some others are working on the plan. I will leave it up to the two of them, because I believe they know what is at stake. The two of them care more about our country in their hands, than the entire Trump gang has in all of its entire being.

(26,044 posts)...from the Very Serious People in the punditocracy, who insist the proper way to handle the procedure is to hurry it up, have low-visibility quickie hearings so that they can vote out articles of impeachment before Thanksgiving, the Senate can acquit before Christmas, and everyone can move on to the 2020 campaign. On the contrary, it seems to me that the longer and more public the hearings are, the worse it will be for 45. Watergate took 1 1/2 years; while this obviously wont take that long, if Democrats back then had tried to make it quick, historians would likely now be debating the history of the Agnew administration from 1976-1984.

(63,868 posts)very evil men in Congress especially McConnell who is at that rally in Kentucky, saying the courts will be changed forever of course to benefit the rich man.
They continue to pack the courts with non qualified appointees. McConnell has not brought one bill to be voted on. Nothing, but they will vote for another tax cut for the rich. Nothing is being done, we still have prisons for children on the southern border., we abandoned our allies, and shamed our troops. They want an oligarchical system, screw the people and only a few rich guys to run the world. They are in for a rude awakening.
