Roger Stone, Trump Friend And Alleged Tie To WikiLeaks, Faces Trial In Washington

https://www.npr.org/2019/11/05/776121411/roger-stone-trump-friend-and-alleged-tie-to-wikileaks-faces-trial-in-washington
<snip>

President Trump's friend and political adviser Roger Stone is set to go on trial Tuesday in a proceeding that could reveal just how close Trump world got to the Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Jury selection is scheduled to commence following months of unusual public silence from Stone, who has been gagged by the judge in his case following a flap this year over his posts on social media.

Stone pleaded not guilty in January after a grand jury in Washington, D.C., returned an indictment with one count of obstructing a proceeding, five counts of making false statements to Congress and one count of witness tampering — because prosecutors allege that he tried to persuade another witness to lie to Congress too.

Neither Stone nor any other Trump insider has been charged with colluding with Russia's interference in the 2016 election; former Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller concluded that there wasn't enough evidence to bring a case of conspiracy.

2. What's interesting is that his version of the events contradicts Wikileak's version.

Roger Stone denies getting an inside scoop from Wikileaks that the emails were about to be released.

Meanwhile Wikileaks has stated that they released a preview of their release and that Roger Stone was simply one of many people who knew that the emaisl were about to drop.

Wikileaks handed Roger Stone a perfectly reasonable excuse for what happened, and Roger Stone declined. Why?

Didn't the Con publicly ask the Russians for help with Hillary's emails? Didn't he tell Wiki-leaks how much he loved them many many times? Didn't they hack the DNC?
So how come he is now blaming the UKrainians - how fucking crazy is this lunatics and his enablers.

Dutch intelligence literally caught the Russians in the act WHILE THEY WERE HACKING THE DNC.

What about all the fake news the Russians spread in order to drum up support for Trump?
There was a pro-Trump Facebook-group "Heart of Texas", organizing grassroots-support for Trump. It turned out to be run by Russians.
There was the Alt-Right blogger Jenna Abrams. Guess what? Russian trolls.
There were two "African-Americans" who spread anti-HRC sentiment on Youtube and supposedly were from Chicago. They didn't know f****g shit about US culture.

Similarly, Ukraine being involved in the DNC-hack is a conspiracy-theory invented by russian trolls and Trump fell for it because he has a hate-on for Ukraine ever since they fingered Manafort for tax-crimes.

Putin has been whispering in Con’s ear during their many calls and secretive visits.

The answer is yes to all your questions. Don knows what happened, but he has a mental illness where he is able to believe two contradictory things at once: the truth, and what he wants to believe is true. Very unstable.

He thinks he has only to say a thing three times and that makes it true. When it comes to his followers, he’s not wrong.

4. Arguably if they released it to multiple parties then Stone wouldn't have gotten an 'inside'
