In all seriousness, take a moment, especially those of us who kept despairing that the Democrats werent doing anything, to imagine what state this country would be in without the blue wave election last year.
Like Speaker Pelosi said, Elections have consequences.

(53,410 posts)rebuild the Republican Party. Liz Cheney has come out with some very mild criticism of Trump policies with a dozen old time Republicans standing behind her. For anyone watching in expectation of such moves it definitely looks like a signal to old time Republicans. Im sure there are more.
The trick is to watch press announcements that dont quite fit the present situation or the screeching. Theyre not talking to us in these announcements. Theyre talking to what are now the moderate Republicans. Moderate only in comparison to the MAGAT driven ones. Theyre the ones who were prominent during George Bushs Administration.
