Here's where I'd like the impeachment hearings to go next:

There's no question that the Democrats have done a great job of proving that trump did in fact commit the various offenses with which he is charged. That he's guilty is not really up for debate anymore. What is debatable in the minds of Independents and moderate Republicans is whether or not these offenses are worthy of impeachment. What we need to debate now are values.

I would like to see the Dems bring in some historians and constitutional scholars to discuss what is an impeachable offense and why trump's behavior rises to that level. Put things in context. Specifically, why does trump asking Ukraine to help dig up dirt on Biden constitute bribery and extortion. I'd also like to see some foreign policy experts talk about why holding back military aid to Ukraine is detrimental to the national security to the United States.

Like any courtroom trial, the burden of proof is on the prosecution. The Dems have shown what trump did, they now need to show why what he did warrants removal from office. The cold, hard facts are out there—now the Dems need to persuade the public that trump is indeed the most corrupt president in history and should be removed.

what else is on the super secret server that is being kept hidden from view. Everything so far has been the standard trump playbook.

The July 26 phone call indicates that trump is good about following up and that he is a micromanager. To think that people did things on their own is absurd. Trump managed everything and in great detail. It was the same in 2016.

The Ukraine money hold-up deal was an operation for Putin, but then trump added his own twist. Kind of like robbing a bank but then deciding to take the bank-line dividers as well and spending too much time in the bank and getting caught as a result. Putin really recruited a clown for this type of work.

Putin would have been better off with Hillary Clinton. He could have cleaned up his act slightly and gotten the sanctions lifted.

Trump's been behaving like this his whole life. He ain't gonna suddenly change at 73.
