I have a friend who worked for the State Department for several years. She had a posting in Ukraine and Yovanovitch was there at the time -- not sure if she would have been ambassador then. My friend highly praises Yovanovitch. Calls her Masha, which is what she really goes by, at least informally/among friends/with coworkers.
