1 - Spectrum isn't coming through my t.v. today. Anyone else in Central Florida having trouble accessing the hearings?

Roku is completely down. When I tried to access through cable tv it popped up and I saw just enough for the CBS commentator to mention Maria's testimony was damaging. Then, when I tried to record it because it's going to be a busy day for me and I won't be able to hear all of it, the system just went dark.

I am now in the process of rebooting.

2 - I was just thinking, isn't it amazing that this country has learned to revere all things military -- even to a fault. We can't question anything related to military action without the fear of being called unpatriotic, but we don't have the same respect for civil servants when they play an integral role in our safety.

I blame this on Republicans for the way they have downsized and defamed our civil servants since the eighties.

Okay. my t.v. is back on. Anyone know were I can see a full replay of Maria Yovanavich's testimony?

2. republicans no longer revere all things military

oh, they still brand democrats as somehow weak on defense or unpatriotic, but after they swiftboated kerry and after donnie slammed a gold star family, any republicans who claims to revere all things military can go to hell.

republicans love to wrap themselves in the flag and they pretend to honor the military because such jingoism plays well, but then they go and slash benefits for veterans.

I know PBS will have it online and probably the best coverage since they offer straight up video w/o commentary most of the time. I have time to watch so I haven't had to go to recorded versions. A lot is rerun by many cable news shows too.
