Ken Starr: GOP Senators Might Consider Having to 'Make a Trip' to the White House After Sondland

Ken Starr: GOP Senators Might Consider Having to ‘Make a Trip’ to the White House After Sondland’s Testimony

Moments before Wednesday’s impeachment hearings and right after U.S. Ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland’s opening statement was released, Fox News contributor Ken Starr wondered aloud whether Sondland flipping on President Trump would cause GOP senators to push Trump to resign. “The real issue is the senators are watching,” Starr said. “Are senators going to now say in light of what we hear today, it’s going to be a long day even with the ambassador alone, in light of what we have heard, ‘We need to make a trip down to the White House’? That historic example set during the Nixon presidency. From what I’ve been able to glean I don’t think that’s going to happen. But obviously what happens today could—has the potential to be a game-changer.”

In his opening statement, Sondland claimed that Trump was seeking a quid pro quo with Ukraine in exchange for investigations into the president’s political rivals, adding that Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani was “expressing the desires” of Trump.

He could see this as an opportunity to really take over the Repub Party by staging a coup to oust McConnell and Trump.

Hopefully there will be some fireworks. The Repubs have had an unholy alliance between the Talibangelists and Wall Street for far too long. Would love to see them splinter.

IMO, Romney will do the payback. He is, I believe, a Mormon elder in a Mormon state. If he turns on Trump, IMO that Mormon state will turn and so will other Mormons.

IMO, the evangels -- the total gullible believers -- will stick with the lies as long as Trump remains anti-abortion and pro-religious rights against all those who evangels think are lesser creatures.

33. Ken Starr: "Sondland flipping on President Trump"
Wed Nov 20, 2019, 01:54 PM
Nov 2019

"Flipping"..."treason against the president"...these people don't give crap about the rule of law, about the country, about truth, they are all cockroaches, they are the lowest human kind can produce.

The guy is telling the truth and they call it "flipping on the president". I think Sondland decided he is not going to jail for the bunch of crooks he decided to work with. One more thing about Sondland, he is not telling all of the truth, I think I would remember my conversations with Mulvaney if I had only had a few of conversations with him, there is not a lot to remember then. I wonder if he saw Al Gonzalez during GW and learned to say "I don't recall" from him. For a guy with such an important position he has very bad memory.

Rudy must be disbarred and taken to the nearest jail. I never believed the crap about "America's Mayor". Yes, maybe I am one of those people who believe in come conspiracies, but I have never believed "Rudy" to be a patriot, he like his daddy trump are self-serving assholes and they don't care about anyone or the country.

And...anyone who voted to get Nunes reelected should check their brains, they either don't have one or suffered some concussion at some point that its preventing them from doing useful analysis.

That I can yell you. Believe me. Mike and Nikki, God’s next delivered prophets, and he will forgive trump as well. Franklin Graham and Jim Bakker will have praying rallies/revivals around the country to raise money and forgiveness for trump et all. They will also pray to destroy Satan’s Democrats
